Pantera and Ondo Launch $250M Fund to Accelerate RWA Tokenization

Ondo Finance and Pantera Capital have unveiled a $250 million fund aimed at boosting investments in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). The ONDO Catalyst fund will target equity stakes and tokens of projects developing blockchain-based versions of traditional financial instruments.

"The tokenization market is becoming an arms race," said Ian De Bode, Ondo's chief strategy officer, as exchanges and protocols expand into tokenized stocks and ETFs. Recent moves by Robinhood, Kraken, and Coinbase underscore the growing institutional momentum behind RWA tokenization.

Ondo has been actively bridging traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure this year through initiatives like Ondo Global Markets and its Global Markets Alliance. The fund signals deepening institutional commitment to blockchain-based capital markets.
